Six original prints, one local artist, and a community that showed up.
The CCRC Silent Auction — Closed
The Story:
Local artist Elizabeth Tener generously donated six original prints — each professionally framed by Studio on the Marsh — for a silent auction supporting the restoration and preservation of the Old Bank of New Brunswick and the Anderson Hollow Lighthouse. Crooked Creek Convenience Store hosted the prints and collected bids throughout the fundraiser.
About the Artist
For more than 30 years, Elizabeth Tener and her husband spent summers in Albert County — a place she came to consider a second home, and where she felt inspired to begin painting seriously. A Parsons School of Design alumna, Elizabeth worked for years as an art needlework designer, with pieces appearing in American Home, Ladies’ Home Journal, and McCall’s Magazine. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Queens Museum in New York, the Albert County Museum, and galleries across Saint John, Moncton, Shediac, and Fredericton — each one capturing her love of nature and the quiet rhythm of tending the land.
